Finally: A sound thought from unsound Sarah

& I don’t watch the Christian Broadcasting Company. I get plenty of religion watching wide receivers thanking God for allowing them to catch the ball and run into the endzone. If I need a little extra, I make it a point to tune in the Country Music Awards and watch all the winners thank God for making them rich.

So  don’t give me credit for pointing out what my old buddy Don Myers recently sent my way. It’s something that Sarah Palin — you know, that one — said about the Obama Administration during an interview on the CBN Feb. 4,  during the height of the uprising in Egypt. Read this carefully:

“And nobody yet has, nobody yet has explained to the American public what they know, and surely they know more than the rest of us know who it is who will be taking the place of Mubarak and no, not, not real enthused about what it is that that’s being done on a national level and from DC in regards to understanding all the situation there in Egypt. And, in these areas that are so volatile right now, because obviously it’s not just Egypt but the other countries too where we are seeing uprisings, we know that now more than ever, we need strength and sound mind there in the White House. We need to know what it is that America stands for so we know who it is that America will stand with. And, we do not have all that information yet.”

I don’t think I understand most of that. But, it’s good to know that Sarah Palin, this bumbling, unthinking, illogical ditz who is still considered by an embarrassingly large minority of American conservatives to be a potential contender for President — President, mind you, of the United States — firmly believes that “we need strength and a sound mind there in the White House.” With that, she’s apparently removed herself as a candidate for President.

Glory be! Who said prayers aren’t answered?

& Reconsidering my status as a non-believer, I’m outta here.
